Thinking Maps is growing our Professional Learning Facilitator team in California!

We are looking for experienced California educators who love working with teachers and want to continue making an impact beyond their own classroom.

We are especially interested in retired and recently retired educators, as well as other experienced educators whose schedules provide the flexibility and availability to facilitate professional learning throughout the school year.

Professional Learning Facilitators work with Thinking Maps as independent contractors, facilitating professional learning for educators in schools and districts across California. These are not full-time positions. Facilitators accept training assignments based on their availability.

We are currently expanding our facilitator team in two key areas:

Thinking Maps Foundations

• We are looking for experienced K–12 educators across grade levels and content areas to facilitate our new Thinking Maps Foundations professional learning.

Write from the Beginning…and Beyond

• We are specifically looking for experienced educators who have taught writing using Write from the Beginning…and Beyond in these grade bands:
  • K–1
  • Grades 2–3
  • Grades 4–6
  • Middle School

Some educators may be a great fit to facilitate both Thinking Maps Foundations and Write from the Beginning…and Beyond.

If you miss working with educators, sharing your expertise, and helping teachers strengthen student thinking and learning, this could be a great way to stay connected to education while putting your experience to work in a new way.
